Penalties for being late and no-shows

Being late or not showing up are the two biggest mistakes you can make with us.

Our goal is to take the absolute best care of our customers.  By not showing up, you have failed to do your job and you have let our customers down.

SOME EXAMPLES

EXAMPLE #1:  Victoria is getting married and ten of her friends booked tickets to Las Vegas to celebrate her bachelorette party.  The maid of honor booked a male stripper and all of the girls are excited as they rarely get to see male strippers where they come from.  On the night of her party, the girls prepare by decorating the room, buying drinks, snacks, party games, and a stereo for music.  When the time comes for the stripper to make his surprise entrance, he doesn’t show up.  The girls are shocked and extremely let down as this was to be the highlight of their vacation.

Do you understand what a big deal it is for a group of friends to agree to spend a lot of money, flying to Vegas, paying for hotel rooms, food, drinks, and entertainment?  And when the entertainer does a no-show, it completely ruins the moment and spoils their memory of Las Vegas.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE

EXAMPLE #2:  Franky is taking his best friend John and eight buddies to Las Vegas to celebrate getting married.  The group purchases a VIP package for a couple grand, with the highlight being a stripper party on a luxury party bus.  They are excited to ride the party bus while partying with strippers and getting lap dances!  When the bus arrives, the group finds out that the two strippers had flaked and there will be no entertainment on board.

What is the point of paying for a large VIP package if there are no strippers?  These guys didn’t spend all that money just to have a sausage party by themselves.  The stripper is the most important part of the package. So when a stripper no shows for a party bus, they absolutely ruin the VIP experience for the customer.

SHOWING UP EARLY IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO.

Our jobs are easy.  But when you are late or don’t show up, you create a nightmare for our staff.  Our booking agents have to scramble trying to find replacements last minute which is extremely difficult and takes a lot of time. Not only does it stress us out, but we could also lose the sale and have to give a refund, AND we lose that customers future business, as well as his friends that he could refer.

DO NOT TAKE OUR JOBS UNLESS YOU PLAN ON BEING THERE EARLY.

All you have to do is plan ahead and pay attention to your phone calendar.  We recommend using Google Calendar.  You should check your calendar twice a day, once in the morning, and once again before bed.

If you think it will take 20 minutes to get to the hotel, give yourself 40 minutes.  Always double the amount of time to be safe.  Don’t forget about traffic jams, construction, finding parking, and walking all the way to the room.  Always give yourself PLENTY OF TIME to get to your job.

PENALTIES FOR BEING LATE

If you are more than ten minutes late, the following penalties apply:

  • First time late – Warning
  • Second time late – $25 fine
  • Third time late – $50 fine
  • Fourth time late – $50 and possible termination

If you are later than 30 minutes, the fine will be doubled.

PENALTIES FOR CANCELLING

  • IF you cancel last minute (within 24 hours of the reservation) and without an acceptable reason, you will have to reimburse us for the booking fee for that job.
  • IF you cancel last minute a second time, we may decide to let you go.

PENALTIES FOR NO-SHOWS

  • IF you do a “no show” (you don’t show up for a job AND you don’t call to let us know), you most likely be taken off our roster. (unless you have an acceptable excuse)

ACCEPTABLE EXCUSES

  • The only acceptable excuse for a NO-SHOW is personal, family, or medical emergency.

When you agree to do a job, you are expected to show up and be ready AT LEAST 15 MINUTES EARLY.  So plan ahead!
